Prepare for a spectacular gathering of automotive history as Hessisch Oldendorf transforms into the global epicenter for Volkswagen enthusiasts. This renowned international meeting, held only every four years, promises an unforgettable experience for anyone passionate about classic VW models, drawing a dedicated crowd from across the globe.
This year marks the 9th international Volkswagen Veteranentreffen HO26, and it's set to be the most impressive yet. Visitors can expect to be surrounded by hundreds of meticulously restored VW Beetles, Buses, Kübelwagens, Karmann-Ghias, and rare gems like the VW SP2, turning the historic town center into a vibrant open-air museum. The event also features an extensive parts market, a dedicated camping area for attendees, and a host of international guests. A special highlight includes the legendary amphibious VW Schwimmwagen making a dramatic entrance into the Weser river, alongside a scenic tourist drive through the picturesque Weserbergland region. The program kicks off on Wednesday, June 24th, with participant arrivals and the opening of the camping area, while the main exhibition and activities run from Friday, June 26th, to Sunday, June 28th.
